ASTM A606 Specification
The ASTM A606 specification covers high-strength, low-alloy sheet and strip, both hot and cold-rolled, available in cut lengths or coils. These materials are designed for structural and various other purposes where weight savings or enhanced durability are essential.
These steels are particularly resistant to atmospheric corrosion and come in two types:
